Mandeep & Kriti E-Session

I love working with couples who are fun, nice, and thoughtful to the person they are working with (in this case, me). Lucky for me, I had the pleasure of working with Mandeep and Kriti… who not only exhibit all of these great qualities, but surpass them even more. Without a doubt, these two have been one of the most awesomest (is that even a word) couples I’ve worked with thus far, and that’s really saying a lot because I work with some truly awesome couples. They are both smart, good looking, extremely easy going, and up for just about anything for the pictures. When they are together, it’s easy to see why they belong together. They manage to always crack each other up, and always enjoy each others company. There was so much laughing at this shoot, that I couldn’t get a bad shot even if I tried. We shot this E-session on a pretty gloomy day, when the weather was pretty lousy, and not exactly the best for pictures. It even rained on us half way though. However, the pictures turned out super awesome, and we all had so much fun together. Not only did we do an outdoor session, but I thought it would be nice to get some shots in their fav. coffee shop, since they both LOVE coffee.

Along with some images, I’m going to introduce my first official slideshow on the blog. I was quite pleased with it, so please let me know if it works or how you like it 🙂

A really cool thing I got to do with this couple, which was a first for me, was actually be a witness to the actual legal wedding procedure. After our shoot, both Mandeep and Kriti surprised me by asking me to come to the magistrates office, and see the procedure. I was in no rush, so I tagged along. Not only did I get to see the procedure, but I actually got to sign the marriage certificate as the second witness! How cool is that? To most people, that may not mean anything. However, to me, this was a great surprise, and a great honor. I not only covered this couple’s E-session and wedding, but I’m actually part of their wedding process! I thought it would be nice to give some extra pics of the procedure, so I took some more. What they didn’t know, I also managed to get part of the actual marriage on video using the 5D mark II.  I just wish I hadn’t placed the camera on top of a printer. After it was all done, we went outside, celebrated by getting some sweets, and called it a day 🙂 Check out the video and the pictures below.
